The yearly trip to England for the classes 6A and 6B led them to Canterbury, Kent, with its beautiful old town and staggering cathedral. The students slept at their respective host families for the duration of our stay, and we participated in a lot of interesting tours and outings, including Leeds Castle and Chatham Historic Dockyard with its Lifeboat Museum. The classes were enchanted by Dover Castle, especially the wartime tunnels hidden underground, and spent an afternoon exploring Cambridge with its many colleges. In the evenings, the students received lessons in African Drumming and had a blast singing karaoke and bowling at the arcade. All in all, it was a great trip!
The first day consisted of mostly travelling: driving to the airport, flying over France and the English Channel, driving to Canterbury and then to our hosts. Every one of us was excited for this new experience and we were happy to meet our families for the week.
Eine Exkursion des Wahlpflichtfachs Französisch
Am 2. April besuchte das Wahlpflichtfach Französisch mit Frau Professorin Coll das Drama Das Missverständnis (Le Malentendu) von Albert Camus im Wiener Volkstheater.
Cette année, les 7AB ont de nouveau été à St. Malo du 7 octobre jusqu’au 14.
On est partis le vendredi très tôt le matin. On a pris l’avion, puis le bus. Après une heure de pause à Rouen on a poursuivi notre trajet. On a fait connaissance avec nos familles d’accueil et on a soupé.
Le samedi, on a été à Dinard et à son marché en bus de mer. L’après-midi, on a rencontré Maurice, l’un de nos profs de français. Il nous a fait visiter la vieille ville et après on a eu du temps libre.

Ma classe et moi, nous avons passé une très bonne semaine. Nous avons fait un cours de français, qui s’appelle „Rendez-vous français“. C’était toute la semaine. Deux hommes français sont venus pour nous parler en français.
L’un s’appelle Samio et l’autre Gil. Ils étaient très sympas. Samio était un black et avec lui nous avons fait des choses très cool. Gil venait de Paris, mais avec lui nous avons travaillé plus.
Unsere Schüler/innen lernen Englisch ab der 1. Klasse und wählen ab der 3. Klasse Latein oder Französisch. Ab der 5. Klasse haben die Franzosen Latein, die Lateiner können zwischen Spanisch und Altgriechisch wählen.
Als Wahlpflichtfach kann ab der 6. Klasse eine weitere Sprache gewählt werden.
