thumbOn Tuesday, April 17, 2012, we, the 6th-graders, arrived at London Heathrow airport. From there we were driven by bus to Canterbury for two hours, and taken to our host families.

On Wednesday we had our first school day from 8:45 to 12:15 (like the rest of the week), which was very exciting. In the afternoon we did a lot of sightseeing in Canterbury during the Quiz Walk. But the day was not over yet. In the evening we went bowling. That was great fun.

Thursday afternoon we visited Dover Castle and explored the tunnels which had been used as a field hospital in World War II. On Friday we spent about two hours in Canterbury Cathedral, and in the evening Karaoke was very amusing.

On Saturday we had a full day excursion to Cambridge, where we were shown the city, the colleges, and King's College Chapel.

Sunday was spent with a full day excursion to Leeds Castle, where we saw the maze and the beautiful grounds surrounding the castle.

On Monday we had lessons again and visited the Canterbury Tales, and for the evening our teachers had prepared a Quiz Night.

Tuesday we flew back to Vienna. It was an amazing trip that none of us will ever forget.
